The C 100 band will be performing a wide variety of big band swing music in the tradition of Count Basie with hits such as “Splanky” and “I Just Found Out About Love.” This semester our featured vocalist Bianca Sperduti will be performing classic songs including “Why Don’t You Do Right” and “Do Nothing Until You Hear From Me.” Don Chilton (Lead trumpet)will be performing a Bob Curnow arrangement entitled “Always and Forever.” Chase Ceglie a Rogers High School saxophonist will be featured on “Summertime.” The band will also be presenting a modern composition by Gordon Goodwin’s Big Phat Band entitled “Jazz Police.” The C 100 band is under the direction of John Monllos.
